Anna Janowicz is PhD in social science, Head of the Hospice Foundation in Gdansk, lecturer of the WSB University in Gdansk. Member of Steering Committee and lecturer of the European Palliative Care Academy (eupca.eu). Author and co-author of articles and studies regarding non-medical aspects of end of life care and informal care: voluntary service and voluntary coordination, non-kin carers and family carers as well.

The Coordinator of Nationwide Social Campaigns named “Family carer does not have to be alone”, dedicated to family carers. The coordinator of nationwide and local projects that aim to activate and integrate local communities and also to create and develop local voluntary groups which support family carers and those under their care at home.
