Karima Bourquard, PhD is IHE-Europe Director of Interoperability, Senior Consultant and founder of IN-SYSTEM (France). She is working on regional/national projects on telemedicine and tele Imaging and other professional network related to the care coordination. She has a solid background on Healthcare IT as eHealth project director and on eHealth interoperability.

She is currently Director of Interoperability at IHE-Europe and board member of InteropSanté in France, French national association dedicated to the promotion of standards and profiles gathering IHE France committee and HL7 chapter.

With the expertise of ISO/IEC 17025, she contributed as IHE International team member to the design and development of the Conformity Assessment Scheme (CAS). She is currently the scientific coordinator of the EURO-CAS a Horizon 2020 European project. (www.EURO-CAS-project.eu ) dedicated to the Conformity assessment in eHealth interoperability.

In the past, she was director of IT specifications development in eHealth and director of interoperability at GMSIH (Groupement de modernisation des systèmes d’information hospitaliers) and was among other users, vendors and experts at the origin of the creation of IHE-France and IHE-Europe.
