Ewa Borek, CEO, MD, MBA, expert in the field of health care system with 20 year of work experience in large international corporations. An expert in the organization and financing of health care and public health. Graduate of MBA Illinois University and the exchange of HTA at the London School of Economics.

She was also engaged in educational projects conducted on a grand scale such as Wolność Oddechu (Freedom of Breath) project. The project was implemented in primary schools throughout Poland, improving asthma awareness among 1 million pupils. Rak Piersi od A do Z (Breast Cancer’s A to Z) was her another important project. It was conducted with the help of Instytut Praw Pacjenta i Edukacji Zdrowotnej (Institute for Patients’ Rights and Health Education) and resulted in increased awareness of patients’ rights among Polish Amazons. Currently, since 2012 the President of the WE Patients Foundation www.mypacjenci.org works to increase the participation of patients in decision-making in health care.
