Public Services National Anchor Point in the European Language Resource Coordination EU programme / CEF eTranslation

Graduate of English Philology at the University of Gdańsk and several postgraduate programmes in: translation (Institute of Applied Linguistics, University of Warsaw), finance (Gdańsk University of Technology & L’École supérieure de commerce de Rouen, France), logistics (Poznan School of Logistics), and an eMBA in health care course.

Member of the Polish Society of Sworn and Specialized Translators  ‘TEPIS’ and Women in Localization professional organization . A specialized translator of English for more than 20 years, cooperating mainly with the academic staff of Polish and foreign universities and ranked scientific journals. Translation project coordinator at the Gdańsk University of Technology and the Central Office of the National Health Fund. Areas of specialization: medicine, public health, management, integrated care, and semantic interoperability.

Professional interests: multilinguality, language technologies, automated translation, best practices i.a. in public procurement of language services, terminology management, and quality assurance in translation.

Previously worked in purchasing and logistics departments of Polish and global manufacturing companies in the positions ranging from Logistics Assistant to acting Logistics Director.
